Master of Education Student Opportunities
Pi Lambda Theta
Pi Lambda Theta is the international honor society and professional association for students in education. While Carthage does not have an active chapter of Pi Lambda Theta, students should still consider joining this association to be recognized for their achievements as a student. Membership is open to graduate and undergraduate students who are nominated by their institutions or invited by a chapter. Students must have an intent to pursue a career in education, a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, and current enrollment in a qualified degree program. Undergraduates must have achieved at least a sophomore standing in a baccalaureate degree program or pre-baccalaureate degree program in education that meets prerequisites for a baccalaureate degree program.
